The top way Australians are tuning into online radio is through radio station apps, up 6% from last year. Additionally, 24% of online radio listeners are listening through a smart speaker.

When it comes to cars, 80% of respondents surveyed that have ridden or driven a car in the last month prefer AM/FM, or DAB+ radio, with 39% using a streaming service and 32% tapping into podcasts.

Speaking of podcasts, 40% of respondents have listened to a podcast within the last month, which is more than double the number reported four years ago in the Infinite Dial 2018 Australia Report.
